A SAFE BIKE CHALLENGE IN ONE PELOTON

Road safety is very important to us. Our peloton of cyclists is accompanied by a police escort from the Sûreté du Québec and the Canadian Organ and Tissue Donation Association (CODA) / Transplant Québec throughout the entire route. We also have a team of coaches, first responders, a puncture truck and a mechanic to keep things running smoothly over the 2 days.

TWINNING BICYCLISTS WITH TRANSPLANTED PATIENTS

If you wish, we can pair you up with a transplant recipient who is a resident of the Maison des greffés. Pairing up with a transplant recipient allows you to personalize your participation, both as an individual and as part of a team, by riding for someone who has undergone a transplant. Through the person’s transplant journey, you can raise awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation. It’s an enriching exchange for both cyclists and transplant recipients, and creates a sense of community!

What’s more, the transplant recipient agrees to take part in your Bike Challenge campaign to give you a helping hand. He or she solicits donations from friends and family and from the region to reach at least half of your campaign goal.
