The Maison des greffés Lina Cyr:
an essential haven to preserve

For over 31 years, the Maison des greffés has welcomed those going through the challenge of organ transplantation. Located in the heart of the city, it provides a warm, safe, and affordable place for patients and their loved ones who must travel far from home to receive vital care.

Over the years, more than 43,000 people have found at the Maison des greffés human support, compassionate listening, and an affordable roof — often at a time when everything feels uncertain.

But today, the Maison needs you.

Its 1920 building is showing signs of wear. Urgent repairs are needed so that the Maison can continue welcoming transplant recipients and their families with the dignity and safety they deserve.

Your donation, no matter the amount, will help preserve this essential service, unique in North America, and provide transplant recipients with a place to regain strength, surrounded by compassion and hope.

Guiding Principles

Warm Welcome

To welcome patients from all regions of Quebec, particularly those coming from remote areas outside Greater Montreal, where the majority of services are concentrated.

Help and support

To encourage the presence of a family member or caregiver for every transplant patient, in order to support optimal recovery and enhance the patient’s emotional well-being throughout their care journey.

Social responsability

To offer a humane, warm, and safe environment that fosters interaction between patients and their companions, allowing everyone to share their experiences and build bonds of solidarity in the face of common challenges and shared hopes for healing.

Serenity

To maintain affordable costs, including lodging and meals, in order to ease the financial burden on patients and their families, who are already facing considerable challenges.

Excellence

To establish standards of excellence in order to strengthen the official recognition of the Maison des Greffés as an essential player within Quebec’s healthcare network, and to affirm its fundamental role in society.

How to donate?

You can make a donation to support our emergency fundraising campaign directly through our dedicated form or by buying tickets to take part in our monthly 50/50 draw:

A 50/50 draw will take place on the last Friday of each month starting December 26th, 2025.

The more you participate, the bigger the jackpot: the more you contribute to saving the mission of the Maison des greffés Lina Cyr.

Tickets are available at the following prices: 3 for $5, 8 for $10, 30 for $20, and 100 for $50.
